using the external cc1101 the cc1101 on the board works the same as the internal cc1101 in the flipper zero and uses the same sub ghz app the working frequency of the cc1101 is from 410mhz to 450mhz and the included antenna is tuned for 433mhz some third party firmware have extra apps for sub ghz if you're interested, check out the section setting up your flipper zero docid\ wflnmmlbrteggidsabrnr flip the power switch on the board to cc1101 and the cc1101 led should light up, you can then open a sub ghz app upgrading the antenna if you want to receive and transmit to even longer distances, you can purchase a larger antenna make sure the antenna is tuned for 433mhz with a 50 ohm impedance and uses an sma male connector as shown below the male connectors have a needle in the middle
