Using the CC1101

Using the External CC1101

The CC1101 on the board works the same as the internal CC1101 in the Flipper Zero and uses the same Sub-GHz app. The working frequency of the CC1101 is from 410MHz to 450MHz and the included antenna is tuned for 433MHz. Some third party firmware have extra apps for Sub-GHz. If you're interested, check out the section Setting up your Flipper Zero

Flip the power switch on the board to CC1101 and the CC1101 LED should light up, you can then open a Sub-GHz app.

Upgrading the Antenna

If you want to receive and transmit to even longer distances, you can purchase a larger antenna. Make sure the antenna is tuned for 433MHz with a 50 Ohm impedance and uses an SMA Male connector as shown below. The Male connectors have a needle in the middle.
